No lost-time accidents in 2006

March 2007 | Alabama Living

Clarke-Washington EMC’s outstanding safety record is evidence that we keep safety as a top priority. We recently logged over 142,000 hours without any lost-time accidents. That total includes all of 2006 without any accidents and part of 2005. In fact we have had only one lost-time accident in the past three years.

In a business that sometimes requires long hours, working in severe weather and often at night, an excellent safety record brings job satisfaction and deserves special recognition.

A $50 Visa debit gift card was issued to each employee complimenting their efforts for over 142,000 hours worked without any lost-time accidents. Clarke-Washington EMC is safety accredited by the National Rural Electric Association.

Congratulations to all Clarke-Washington EMC employees!

In this month’s magazine is a list of the patronage capital checks which has been returned by the postal service. If you had service with the cooperative in 1981 and did not get a capital refund check you can check this list and see if it has been returned. We will need the 911 address for future mailings.

Thank you for your support of the cooperative!
