ALERT: Phone call imposter scheme — don’t be fooled!

There have been calls made to our customers by persons identifying themselves as CWEMC employees. In the call the customer is asked for account information and tells the customer that they must make a payment over the phone or they will have their power disconnected. DO NOT give them any information. CWEMC will never call a customer and ask for payment or account info over the phone. If you receive one of these calls, contact the Sheriff’s dept in your county.
