Safety City is a program presented by Clarke-Washington EMC personnel that teaches students about electricity, electric preservation and electrical safety. After Safety City visits a classroom, students should be able to better understand how electricity provides a better way of life and the dangers of electricity when it is not used properly. Students watch a video about how electricity is generated and transmitted from power plants to their homes. A safety presentation demonstrates electricity as a live and potentially dangerous power source.
