JACKSON–Dedicated to serving our customers with affordable and convenient electricity is the job of Clarke-Washington EMC.  Without dedicated and professional employees that goal could not be obtained.

Six individuals were recognized for their service to Clarke-Washington EMC at the annual Employee Awards Dinner, Thursday, Dec. 6 at the Chatom Community Center.  Those employees recognized were David Bryant-5 years, Bill Bumpers-35 years, Betty Joyce Etheredge-retired with 36 years, Suzanne Harrell-5 years, Polly Odom-15 years, and Haron Smith-15 years.

Each recipient received a service pin by Clarke-Washington EMC manager Stan Wilson.

“The success of Clarke-Washington EMC is based primarily on the professionalism of our employees,” Stan Wilson said.  “I appreciate the work that they do to ensure customer service and satisfaction which makes our office a pleasant environment to work in.”

Clarke-Washington EMC is a rural electric cooperative serving citizens in Clarke and Washington County and portions of Monroe and Wilcox counties.
