Apply for Service

In order to apply for service a customer must come to one of our office locations and complete a membership application. The amount of members' deposit will vary depending on their credit rating. The customer needs to be prepared to pay a $5.00 memberhsip fee, a $35.00 connection fee is the service line is not attached to the house or a $25.00 connection fee if the service line is connected to the house.  For Commercial Rates, please contact the Clarke Washington EMC Service Department

Easement

In order to connect any new service or to reconnect an existing service that has been disconnected from the powerline the customer must complete our easement agreement and turn this into our office.  Click here for an easement form.

Transfer Service

To transfer electric service a member must request a name change and submit a $5.00 name change fee. The member must bring the current meter number and meter reading of the meters in which they will be using.

Disconnect Service

To disconect electric service a member must call and request a disconnection. There is no charge for this service. However, the customer will be responsible for the final bill and any credits or previous membership fees will be applied to that bill. If there is a credit the customer will be refunded this amount.
